A Gardeners Blog

I have to start this page with an apology to Edna Walling. Remarkably enough, having done a very quick search, no one else appears to have lifted the title of her iconic book, A Gardener's Log. Any way it is my intention to post thoughts on gardening with flowers and vegetables and the garden industry generally. I don't claim to be a gardener like Edna Walling or like most of the people I hope will read this, but I can give a grower's perspective to any gardening questions you might have.

New Scotsburn Logo

I’ve had some great ideas for a logo tag line, thank you to everyone that has offered suggestions. Emmie has been at it again and come up with a “connections” theme which I really like and my son Ben offered “exersize your green fun muscle”, but there might have to be rules about “family members and employees”…

I have to stop dithering and make a decision… next week. Don’t panic it will happen. We have to have our new image ready for the International Flower and Garden Show at the start of April.
